I dont understand the mediocre ratings for this app; its a small library of features, docs, cartoons, film noir, burlesque and nudie-cutie loops (hubba hubba! :) vintage features, and hard-to-find tv. An absolute no-brainer for a movie buff to have on their iPhone or iPod touch, etc. Well organized, and put together with much affection and respect for movie-fools. Download immediately!

This may be a well organized library but few display if a video format is available for viewing on iPhone. ( and yes I do have wifi) I was hoping to find some fun cartoons for my kids. After a frustrating evening searching this library I found only an old commercial to play ...then deleted the app. Too bad. It promises to be a fun one Id even pay for if it worked as promised.

The app collections selections are limited, but the search function allows you to find file listings far beyond those listed in the app. I discovered the first Lone Ranger TV episode! App seems to work well.

This app has many of the original Betty Boop cartoons, as a big fan of this beloved character, this is truly superb! Im really enjoying this app and I havent even started looking at other categories!!

I think this app is cool because its got those old cartoons that I grew up as a kid watching. If your looking for an app two watch Avatar or Transforms this is not it. They show older movies and shows. If your into that, then you will love this app.

Dang. I was hoping for the "forest rangers" from 1960s. Where would one suggest such things? Thunk Ill head over to the website and look around.

Ive looked on like 50 different videos and non of them have a video option. All that comes up is the title, more info and keywords. Really a disappointment. And when I go to app support there is nothing to contact developers to see whats up. Dumb.

This app is a convenient doorway to thousands of great videos available at the Internet Archive. Im talking about documentaries, old movie trailers, vintage cartoons, full-length movies, experimental CGI films, hilarious Brick films (animated Legos) ... the list goes on and on. Im sure I will be draining my battery day after day, because this app makes it so easy to watch and bookmark my favorites. Outstanding job, Bubble Pop Software! Now Im just hoping youll create an app for the Old Time Radio section of the Internet Archive.

I cannot get a single movie to play over 3G or WiFi. I sooo want this to work but nothing will play!

Last night I watched obscure 1960’s sitcoms (complete with campy commercials admonishing me to buy the right toothpaste for my family) while in bed. Thank you for bringing the wonder and amazement of internetarchive.org to the iphone/iPod Touch! ..Yes, larger movie files are going to take a while to buffer, but that’s not the Apps fault.

No worth the trouble

Nice features , but the movies never loaded!!! If the movies would load its the best app out there, but..... No movies, no app, low rating!!!

This app is very well done, and presents many titles which will appeal to a variety of tastes. I enjoyed watching Mary Pickford in "Cinderella" just now. The film is 95 years old, but I loved it as if it was new. The only drawback of that particular film is that the screen aspect ratio is dissimilar from my iPod Touch, so I had to either watch with black bars on the side, or zoomed in with the top and bottom of the image cropped off. That is not the developers fault, they have no control over the screen aspect ratio of the media. Im very impressed with this app, and I give it 5 stars for price, design, features, and for doing just what the description claims.

Wow, I just heard of this app and downloaded it. I am very surprised at the low review scores! Ive had no trouble watching videos, tv shows, old commercials and even a vlog (drivetime) that I almost forgot about. This app is great! If youre looking to watch some open source and out of copyright movies, this is the app for you. (I even found Night of The Living Dead in full 1080p H.264 format, amazing!) Great job dev(s), thank you!

This app is a wonderful example of one of the places where the iPhone platform fails. The only problem Ive had was that the videos present were in a codec that iPhone doesnt support. Thats not the fault of the app developers. Add an e-mail sharing feature and this is an awesome app!

Apples failure for multiple video support prevails once again. This app is good but lack of videos to watch and apples lack of support for other video formats than theirs makes this app frustrating. And to actually find a video file in a lot of the selections do not have videos attached to them as if they were there and then removed. So its not the app but rather apple and the website hosting the videos that fail miserably.

It has nothing to what I thought it was. I could not find a thing that I wanted to see,and most of the videos wont even load for me!!!

I can access the Internet Archive (the source of the videos on this app) on my iPad and all videos play wonderfully using Apples software, so the problem is in the app. It is a great idea ... If only it would work! UPDATE: With the latest fix, this app has improved a thousand percent! Everything plays and content from the Internet Archive is now easily accessible. It has instantly become one of my favorite apps. Thanks, guys!

Needs to be able to connect with 3G as well to make this a great app. Whenever it does will give more stars, other than that this is no use to me since it freezes after so many minutes into the show. Thanks
